AOL's! Earn Troop 114G's special ASPEN AWARD!
This is an optional award with a scout-designed super-awesome patch. To earn the Aspen Award, AOL Scouts must complete a few activities prior to joining the troop and then complete a few more after joining the troop. Webelos and AOL Scouts & Families!
Choosing the right troop for Scouts and Families is important. We believe it takes more than one visit & time spent with the Scouts. We have put together many opportunities to visit for Webelos & AOL Scouts throughout 2023 and 2024.*
October 5, 2023
ALL ages of girl Cub Scouts and a parent/guardian are invited to join Troop 114G for a special American-flag focused evening. Scouts will retire flags, learn about care and presentation, and color guard appropriate for all ages. Counts toward Cub Scout requirements.
November 4, 2023
AOL Scouts and a parent are invited to join us for Troop 114's annual Winter Camping College. Scouts learn how to pack, dress, and survive in the cold, as well as participating in hands-on winter first aid scenarios.
December 1, 2023
AOL Scouts and a parent are invited to join us at our annual Urban Survival. Scouts take the train downtown, sleep in an office building, and learn city orienteering and following maps while they complete a fun scavenger hunt. This date can change due to weather. We will update as the event gets closer.
